The Adjustment Bureau was a movie I have been waiting for months to see. I remember first viewing the trailer and just the concept seemed like a great idea. There will be no major spoilers here so it is safe to read if you plan on watching this movie.

A man running for senate ( Matt Damon ) meets an interesting woman by chance in the bathroom of some hotel. The two "click" in a way but they go their separate ways. When the two meet again on a bus this is when things start to pick up in the movie. We find out there is an adjustment bureau who control how things work in life. We have no free will, they determine our outcomes. It so happens that this chance encounter between Matt Damon and the woman ( Emily Blunt ) was never supposed to happen.

That's all I am going to reveal for now. But here are my thoughts on the movie. I came in expecting an interesting and unique plot line, and it definitely met up to those expectations. It was a very interesting movie. A lot of different elements were thrown into it and it worked out well: Romance, Action, Drama... all nicely done. I would recommend it to those who haven't watched it. It did have a bit of a Bourne Identity feel but it was great.

8/10 is my rating. Go check it out while it's still in theaters! It will definitely leave you with some interesting thoughts once the movie is over.
