Modi’s Government Fails to Address India’s Employment Crisis
India’s economy is in deep trouble, and the government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues to ignore the real issues. The country boasts of being the fastest-growing major economy, but this growth exists only on paper. The reality is much bleaker. The youth, the backbone of any nation, are struggling to find work, while Modi’s administration does nothing to address the growing unemployment crisis. Instead of focusing on creating jobs, the government diverts attention by stirring up anti-Muslim sentiments, hoping to distract the public from the country’s economic collapse.
Youth Unemployment Hits Record Highs
India’s young population, which should be a source of strength, is being wasted under Modi’s rule. Over 42% of young people between the ages of 20 and 24 are unemployed. Many, like Chandan Kumar, who has been searching for a job for over a decade, are left with no option but to take up low-paying, informal jobs like food delivery. Despite having university degrees, millions of young Indians cannot find stable employment. Yet, Modi’s government has consistently ignored these concerns, instead feeding the public with hollow promises and divisive rhetoric.
A Broken Education System
The crisis extends beyond unemployment; India’s education system is fundamentally broken. Modi’s administration has done little to address this. Young people graduate from universities only to find that their degrees are worthless in the job market. The curriculum is outdated, and teachers are poorly trained, leaving students without the skills they need to succeed. As a result, many graduates remain unemployed or are forced into further studies, all while the government pretends that everything is fine.
Empty Promises and Political Diversions
Modi’s government has mastered the art of avoiding responsibility. Instead of addressing the employment crisis, it has consistently chosen to divert attention toward anti-Muslim sentiments and religious polarization. His administration stirs up hatred, blaming Muslims for various societal problems, while unemployment continues to rise, and the economy suffers. By creating a narrative that focuses on religion, the government avoids addressing its failure to provide for its citizens.
A Worsening Economy Under Modi
India’s economic situation under Modi is worsening by the day. The wealth gap is growing, formal sector jobs are disappearing, and small and medium-sized enterprises are collapsing under heavy regulations and red tape. While the rich thrive, the poor and middle class continue to suffer. Modi’s solution? Keep the people distracted with rhetoric, making them believe that the real enemy lies within their religious neighbors, rather than acknowledging his government’s incompetence.
Subverting Attention with Hate
The Modi administration has failed to address the most critical issues facing the nation. Instead of focusing on job creation and educational reforms, Modi continues to rely on divisive tactics to cling to power. By fanning the flames of religious hatred, his government has successfully diverted public attention from its utter failure to deliver on economic growth and development. The result is a country where young people, women, and the poor are left to fend for themselves while the government continues to erode their futures.
